It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable.

By using the Platform and providing your information, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account details: your name, mobile number, email address, and password.
• Profile details: your photographs, date of birth, gender, marital status, height, religion, caste or community, mother tongue, education, occupation, income range, location, family details, lifestyle, horoscope or astrology details, partner preferences, and similar information you choose to add.
• Communications: feedback, support requests, and reports you send us.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: profiles you view, interests sent or received, searches, and feature usage.
• Device and technical data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, and identifiers, collected through tools such as Firebase.

3. How We Use Your Information

• to create and operate your account and profile;
• to show your profile to other users and to suggest and rank potential matches;
• to provide compatibility, MatchDNA, and astrology-based features you use;
• to process payments and manage subscriptions;
• to send service messages and notifications;
• to provide support and respond to grievances;
• to maintain safety, prevent fraud and misuse, and enforce our Terms; and
• to comply with legal obligations.

4. Consent and Legal Basis

We process your personal data based on the consent you provide when you register and use the Platform, and as otherwise permitted by law. Because a matrimonial service works by sharing your profile with other users, using the Platform necessarily involves disclosing your chosen profile details to other users. You may withdraw your consent by deleting your account, though doing so will end your ability to use the Platform.

5. How We Share Information

With other users

Your profile information — other than your contact number, which is shared only after you and another user mutually connect — is visible to other users in accordance with your settings and the matching features of the Platform.

With service providers

We share limited data with trusted third parties who help us operate the Platform, such as cloud hosting, payment processing (for example, PhonePe), notification, and analytics providers, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

For legal reasons

We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or a lawful request by a government authority, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or the Company.

6. Data Security

We adopt reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. After you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our Terms.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• access and review the information in your profile;
• correct or update your information through the app;
• hide or temporarily deactivate your profile; and
• delete your account and request erasure of your personal data.

9. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that a minor has registered, we will remove the account.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform. Your continued use after a change indicates your acceptance.
